SCI Illinois & Chicago Chapter
Hall of Fame
The Illinois & Chicago Chapter, founded in 1972, is one of the two original chapters of Safari Club International. Our Chapter is pleased to announce the establishment of a Hall of Fame for those individuals who have served SCI and our Chapter in truly exceptional ways, demonstrating their value far above and beyond the average.
In order for an individual to be considered in the future for the highest honor of the Chapter, the following process will apply:
To be eligible for nomination, an individual
- must have been an SCI Life Member
- must have been a Member of our Chapter for at least 10 years
- must have served on the Chapter Board of Directors for at least 6 years – OR – have made substantial contributions to the Chapter through other means for multiple years
- must have consistently supported SCI, our Chapter, and our programs through donations, funding, time and/or materials
Nominations may be submitted in writing to the Board of Directors by any Chapter Member in good standing. Nominations must include the written support of at least three current Board Members. Nominations will be reviewed by the Selection Committee, which will consist of the five Chapter Officers. The Selection Committee may elect, by a majority vote, up to and no more than two inductees in any calendar year. Those chosen will be honored at the Chapter’s next annual fundraiser banquet.
